Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis was to find out, how marketing affects on selected companies settled in Ostrava area. To focus on standard of services and further to propose recommendations, for better lead of these companies. Diploma thesis has research-comparative character and is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter describes the city Ostrava. The second chapter is focused on researched companies CK Vítkovice tours and Madeja sport shop. In the third chapter are named key concepts of marketing and their definition. Next chapter describes methods and technology of sociological research and process, how did the thesis originate. In the last chapter are named proposals and recommendations for better lead of these companies. These recommendations originated based on marketing research.
