Abstract

My thesis is concerned with the concept of vertical steam generator for nuclear power station VVER 640 generation III+ with persistence of 60 years. In the introduction I have worked on the review of several generations of nuclear reactors. Afterwards I have described primary and secondary area of nuclear power station with the specification of the individual parts. This is followed by a background research on steam generators with schemes and description of nuclear power station VVER 640. The practical part of the thesis is concerned with thermal calculation of steam generator according to required values, calculation of hydraulic loss and scheme of two-level steam separation. The final part is focused on concept of materials used for steam-generator with solidity test.
