Motivation for this thesis is solving practical design node for the Continental company. The main aim is to find optimal shape of plastic ribs inside of the control unit. Proposed thesis contains stress and deformation analysis, which has been carried out with aim of finite element method. On the basis of gained results, there will be designed shape of the ribs resulting in optimal clamping of PCB inside of plastic case . At the same time, the assembly force mustn´t be too high. For stress and deformation analysis, there was used pre/postprocessor ANSYS classic, workbench, solver ANSYS classic. Analytic solution was carried out by sw. MS EXCEL. All 3D models were made in CATIA V5 V5R19SP3 64bit.
