Abstract
This master's thesis focuses on the analysis and optimization of the washing process in industrial washing machines within a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on quality, sustainability, and economic efficiency. The aim of the thesis is to identify the main causes of insufficient cleanliness of washed parts, evaluate their impact on the process, and propose measures that lead to increased process stability, reduced operating costs, and the elimination of recurring defects. Quality management tools, particularly the Ishikawa diagram and Pareto analysis, were used to identify key problem areas. The solution involved changing the cleaning chemistry, adjusting the process parameters of the washing equipment, and optimizing the rinse cycles. The outcome is the design and validation of new washing process standards, which eliminate the formation of the undesirable white residue, improve the cleanliness of components, and significantly reduce operating costs.
