Abstract
The presented thesis is aimed at the problematic of piling technologies. Mainly at the concrete driven piles. The thesis also discusses the benefits of driving formulas for determination of the pile load capacity. The thesis is divided into two main segments: First part is about calculation of load capacity of compressed pile.This part also described different piling technology which are using in Czech republic. The next part is aimed at really drived piles on czech construction site – motorway D35, CO 202 - Overpass over the inundation area of the Elbe. This part is aimed at the assessment of pile load capacity with different methods (eg.: from results of CPT, according to PN-B-02482:1983 – Fundamenty budowlane, analytical calculation etc). Finally, the assessmented load capacity are compare each other and with results of static load tests.
