Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis covers the subject of assembly line optimization for assembly of lumbar adjuster at the Brose CZ, spol. s r. o. company. The work begins with general characteristics of the problem which needs resolving. It’s followed by current state analysis, introducing the company, product, production assortment and actual production volumes as well as analysis of existing layout, assembly operations and times, including operators’ deployment. Major problems of the assembly line are specified according to results of the analysis. Subsequently, solutions for its elimination are drawn up. They’re related particularly to the technical upgrades and TPM implementation.
