Abstract

PAVLAS, Jan. Turning Technology with Reverse Feed. Ostrava, 2019, 65 s. Master Thesis. VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology. Thesis head Jana Petrů. The diploma thesis deals with an analysis of the resulting cutting force, its components, roughness of the machined surface, the wear mechanism of turning technology inserts with reverse feed. There is an introduction to given technology and used instruments, tools in experiment in the first part of the thesis. The second part was focused on experimental work, when two materials 1.1191, 1.4404 were machined by two inserts with the designation CP-B1108-M5 2025 and CP-B1108-L4 1115. Based on the data, the wear mechanism of the inserts was determined and the most suitable cutting parameters for the individual materials were set. Last but not least, the diploma thesis recommends possible further development and research of this technology.
