Abstract

This work deals with Aircraft Engine Run-up Station Site at Leoš Janáček, Ostrava – Mošnov aerodrome for series of Boeing 737, Airbus 319/320/321 and Saab 340. At first it is focused on the general description of engine tests, which are performed on these aircraft. The next chapter deals with the safety in engine tests, which is absolutely necessary and should always be at the forefront. Description of the current run-up station is described in the third chapter, there is described only the status and the principle of the motor tests. Last and the most important chapter deals with the very estimate plan of run-up station for engine tests. This part of thesis deals with the improvement of the existing run-up station adding various elements that help to improve aircraft safety and the safety of operating personnel.
