Abstract

This Bachelor thesis focus on present problems of sand management and its modernizing in transport company. There will be described the situation with silica sand used by all kinds of rail vehicles. Next, I will sketch the way how silica sand is prepared in transport company nowadays. On the basis of analysis of preparation of silica sand, the bachelor thesis will deal with its modernization. This thesis includes economic estimation which serves as a basis for a design of decreasing expenses of the mentioned modernizing. Last, there is resume and evaluation of the whole sand management project.
