Návrh hydrodynamického čerpadla a ověření pracovního bodu pomocí CFD simulace

Abstract

This master's thesis is focused on the design of a hydrodynamic pump and the verification of its operating point via CFD simulation. The theoretical part presents an analysis of design approaches for the impeller and volute based on literature from multiple authors. The practical part focuses on calculating the main dimensions of the impeller, designing the blade shape, volute and subsequently creating a 3D model. To verify the design, CFD simulations of flow were performed for three different impeller variants. The simulation results were analyzed in terms of pressure distribution, velocity vector fields, efficiency, and the pump’s operating characteristics. The aim was to compare the actual operating point of the pump with the design values and to evaluate the influence of geometric modifications on its hydraulic performance.
