Abstract
The topic of this thesis is the optimization of the design of the water-cooled double wall radiant part of the combustion hot water boiler of the company VYNCKE s.r.o., which are used mainly in the agricultural industry for hot water production. The theoretical part of the work consists of a short description of the combustion process, biomass as fuel and the design of the hot water boiler. The practical part can be divided into two subparts. The first one is devoted to checking and carrying out the calculation according to the European standard EN 12 953 (and related) and its subsequent optimization. In the second sub-part, I have presented the design of the structural connection of the plates of the double jacketed wall that forms the wall of the boiler combustion chamber. I have selected one of these designs on the basis of their comparison and carried out a strength check. At the end of the thesis, I compared the results obtained in both chapters.
