Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the design of the additional conveyor for the DHS hopper from the ballast cleaning machine, which can be used to load material excavated by a two-way excavator from the railway top and its surroundings. The introduction of this diploma thesis is dedicated to researching the current state and analyzing the possibilities of installing and implementing an additional conveyor system to a DHS hopper, plus connecting its drives to the existing hydraulic circuit. The research of drives for conveyors for machine cleaning hoppers, including a comparison of conveyor drive concepts. The practical element is devoted to conveyor performance calculations and the structural element calculations. Then followed by the structural design of the additional conveyor itself, including the choice of selected elements. The drawing documentation of the selected parts of the conveyor, including the hydraulic diagram, is attached to the diploma thesis.
