Možnosti frézování niklových slitin

Abstract

JANOŠ, Miroslav. Milling Possibilities of Nickel Alloys. Ostrava, 2016. 146 p. Dissertation. VŠB – TU Ostrava. Trainer: prof. Dr. Ing. Ivan MRKVICA. This dissertation is about options in milling nickel alloys. Particularly it is about plain milling of nickel super-alloy Inconel 718 by tools of various cutting geometry. For milling I used different type of indexable cutting inserts from cemented carbide from different manufacturers. The indexable cutting inserts were test on wear for finding out the most optimal cutting conditions, further was checked surface roughness, amount of removed material and measuring of forces by dynamometer. In the beginning is mentioned specification of nickel alloys. Next chapter described today’s milling of nickel alloys with tools of particular edge geometry. Further description of Inconel 718 a material I used for experiments. Then there is assessed machinability of material, there are mentioned also cutting materials suitable for milling of nickel alloys. Further chapters are focused on wear of tools, roughness of machined surface and force relations conditions during cutting process. For all parameters are stated different measurement methods. Also there are stated goals of this dissertation. Main part of my dissertation contains description of experiment’s test methodology, used machines, tools and cutting conditions used for cutting process. Further methods and equipment used for measuring of parameters. Measuring of wear resp. lifetime of different inserts and measuring surface roughness were performed in Miketa co. and in laboratories the Department of machining, assembly and engineering metrology in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in VŠB – TU Ostrava. Measuring of forces during machining was performed on Zilina University in Zilina. The experiment results are described in further chapters with detailed information and assessment. All measured values of graphs were processed in table editor MS Excel and program DASYlab 8.0. Part of it is also explanation of results we received. In last final part is summary of results. There are mentioned things we have found and benefits for science and research and for practice. Further I mention recommendations for further research of described problematic and recommendation of further experiments for confirmation of results we have reached and finding new information and relations.
