Abstract

Theme of this diploma thesis is to select a suitable type of truck for operation in a metallurgical enterprise based on Multi-Criteria Decision making methods. The introduction will describe the conditions in the company and the general requirements for trucks for the transport of slag and other loose substrates. Furthermore, the theory of Multi-Criteria evaluation and the design of suitable criteria will be developed with respect to the requirements of the company. In the end, the individual variants of trucks for the transport will be presented for which their value of utility will be calculated. Based on the value of total utility, a suitable variant of the truck will be selected.
