Abstract
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to explore the energy production from combined heat and power sources. In accordance with assignment, thesis is solving a unit with microturbine (100 kW output) using combustion gas. Thesis includes calculation of idealized combustion cycle, stechiometric calculations and design of related heat exchanger. A short economics overview is also included.
