Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to analyze current situation and then evaluate the system settings of receivables management in a specific organization or its efficacy and, following the results of the analysis suggest changes to improve the process of debt management.

To process the work we used methods of description, analysis, comparison and development monitoring.

We have found out that in cases where an organization has no information about payment morale of a potential customer, it would be appropriate to accept payment in advance. Also, it would be helpful to verify payment discipline in some of the available registers of debtors, even if it is a paid service.

For the final conclusion we can state that in the process of receivables management there is a space for improvement especially regarding the prevention of receivables in the organization.
