Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for monitoring laying hens using RFID technology. Contains a search of available intelligent chicken coop solutions. Explains the principle of operation of RFID, including the frequency bands and standards used. Describes the hardware resources used, which have been selected and used. Furthermore, the development programming tools are described, both the used programming languages and the development environments in which it was worked. The main part is the design and implementation of the software part of the laying hen monitoring system using RFID, which consists of a web interface, a database and an algorithm for monitoring laying hens. At the end of the work, possible extensions are suggested.
