Abstract

The master thesis deals with the strength control of the rotary drying drum and its analysis of fatigue. The introduction is described the creation of these devices and the use of rotary furnaces is further approached. Subsequently, there is the calculated drum in more detail described. It also deals with the distribution of mass in the drum. These findings are then used to create a MKP model for static analysis. After evaluating the static analysis, the drum is checked for fatigue. In conclusion, the results are summarized and a further approach to the solution is proposed.
