Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and describe the system of employee education and development at the Regional Authority of the Moravian-Silesian region, and to suggest improvements of this system. The theoretical part describes several concepts that are related to the topic, such as "human resource management", "personnel business" and the term "employee education" itself. In the subchapter "employee education", there is described the system and individual roles of participants of education and development.
The practical part includes the analysis of employee education and development system mentioned above. The analysis was based on information acquired from a semi structured interview with a personnel worker of the Moravian-Silesian region and a questionnaire analysis. The description of the system of employee education and development of the Regional Authority of the Moravian-Silesian region was based on this analysis. An economic aspect of education was also taken into account and it is included in the subchapter "evaluation education". Replies from the questionnaire analysis were evaluated and processed, and used as a ground for the suggestions regarding education system improvements.
