Abstract
The main focus of this master‘s thesis is a project design of the separator, a steam preheater, for the nuclear power plant in order to remove the moisture from the working steam and to increase overall efficiency of the circulation of the nuclear power plant. In the first part of the thesis, the purpose of the system, basic distribution of the equipment for the moisture removal from the working steam, as well as a more detailed description of the type of the separator selected is described. In the followong part, there are calculated basic dimensions of the separation part and thermal, hydraulic and strength device calculations with a draft of its basic dimensions. At the end of the work, these calculations are evaluated. The thesis contains a 3D model of the separator, the steam preheater, created in, the drawing documentation and a scheme of the connection of the device with the steam circuit.
