Abstract

This master thesis is about design of a small CNC milling machine. In the first part possibilities of the machine design are presented, their advantages and disadvantages. These options are compiled to own conception of the machine. For the follow design of the each parts cutting forces are calculated for machining of various materials. Preliminary designs are reviewed by calculation and modified according to the results of calculations. Last part of thesis introduced the principle of CNC machines and lists possible programs for machine control. Drawings are stated in the attachment.
