Abstract
This thesis deals with the calculation of vibrations and solution of acoustic problem on the geometry of railway wheels. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the behavior of the Finite Element Method (FEM) for vibration, acoustic and damping. Also, there is x taken into account a criterion of the element size and its tuning to achieve the most accurate results in the shortest possible time using the latest data processing automation products. In the next step this thesis is focused on the control mathematical model and its comparison with the real measurement. The practical part is made the evaluation of the element size influence on the results of modal analysis. After choosing the most effective element sizing the task continues to harmonic analysis of vibrations and acoustic radiation of the wheel. Within the obtained results there is computed mechanically radiated power, which can be compared with the results of acoustic analysis, which is the last step of this thesis.
