Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with calculation of anti-explosive device which is used for testing pressure vessels. In the introduction describes theory of explosion and behavior in the environment, structural impact and plastic material behavior. Next chapter describes influence of strain rate in terms of material behavior. Attention is also given to the implicit and explicit algorithms for finite element method. Analysis is performed by MSC Patran 2012 and MSC Dytran 2012. The problem is solved as a fluid structure interaction analysis.
