Abstract
Aim of this work is to rationalize the process of cutting steel rods. The thesis is elaborated in the company VITKOVICE mechanica, a.s. In the first part is analysis and evaluation of the current state of the company. Than are analyzed individual processes and activities. Following are suggestions and measures to increase productivity. Finally the paper is evaluated.
