Abstract
This bachelor thesis on "Study of PVD coatings" describes the current state of blackening, nickel plating and PVD technologies, for application to cutting tools holders. The first part describes the theory of PVD coating, then the work deals with the chemical coating. In the last section are designed experimental methods for testing surface coatings with corrosion in the test chamber and calo testing. Based on theoretical knowledge and the results of experimental work and technology
economic results is recommended chemical coating.
