Abstract
The bachelor thesis focuses on electroerosive cutting of pyramidal holes on an optical component. The optical component is one of the products of the company Meopta-Optika and electroerosive cutting is performed in cooperation with the companies Svatopluk Daněk EDM.
In the first part we will introduce both companies and the function of electroerosive wire machining will be theoretically described. After explaining the function of theoretical machining, we will explain the production of the optical component and describe the production of pyramidal holes in more detail. We will summarize the advantages and disadvantages of this method and imagine such machines that are necessary for practice.
The practical part will focus on selecting the right wire for cutting, we will test the various types of wires in practice and then examine their properties, including comparison with the parameters of the manufacturer. The cutting results will then be evaluated, and the best possible wire selection will be evaluated based on the criteria specified.
