Abstract

The thesis focuses on the optimalization of the production process of the rear lighting of the Jaguar Land Rover passenger car in PLASTIC OMNIUM Lighting Czech, s.r.o. In the introductory chapters the basic theory is presented, which covers the general topic of work measurement, production rationalisation and lean tools. The next part is devoted to the company, production line, introduction to specific workplaces, analysis of individual operations. As an initial technique for further data processing, the BasicMOST method is used in the industrial engineering department of the PO company. In the following section, the author discusses the objectives of the thesis, which are to produce in such a number of operators and CT line that the production is profitable as planned in the launch phase. The final sections are dedicated to data evaluation, implementation of the proposed solution, verification of the functionality of the design and start up of profitable production. Due to company policy regarding sensitive data, a technical report was created that contains all the exact data and values.
