Abstract

In this thesis, I dealt with the problem of machining of a cylindrical surface of a pin with respect to the required surface roughness of the component, which was commissioned by the company UNEX Olomouc, a.s. The initial theoretical part summarizes the issues of cylindrical surface machining, introduction to surface integrity and the influence of cutting parameters on surface roughness. In the experimental part, the problem of machining a specific pin was solved using 3 different finishing tools, which were compared in terms of productivity and labour economy at the end of the work.
