The aim of this thesis was to propose a design of a tilting stand used to tilt a pouring ladle in demolishing a refractory plaster.
The introduction deals with the calculation of the center of gravity of a pouring ladle with a refractory brick and a pouring ladle without a refractory brick for tilting angles (0-150°). Using the trajectory of the center of gravity and weight (pouring ladle, tilting stand, brick), I calculated the maximum heeling moment which is needed to tilt the pouring ladle. Then I deal with the design and the construction of this equipment, and the components needed for tilting of the ladle and their design.
