Abstract

The thesis solves the problem of moving immobile patients from wheelchairs or other devices into a bathtub. In the beginning of thesis there is market research of similar transportation units including their construction, driving mechanism etc. On the basis of findings from the market research there were chosen alternative solutions for the construction of the manipulator. The solutions meet the specified requirements resulting from a work environment and object of a manipulation. The options are modeled in Pro/ENGINEER program environment. On the basis of the value analysis is selected an optimal solution. The selected solution is constructionally processed in detail, described, modeled and supported by attachments afterwards.
