Abstract

This thesis deals with the renewal of the rolling stock in the State organization – General management of customs, concretely its component – Customs office in Ostrava. In the preamble is a characteristic of this Customs office and description the methodology for establishing threshold for discard a car. In the main part is the analysis of rolling stock and the optimum period of lifetime. In the final part of this thesis is proposed a method for renewing the rolling stock in Customs office Ostrava.
