Abstract

Bachelor thesis is dealing with procedure of preliminary design of double-barelled shotgun – over & under type. There is basic introduction to ammunition and choke issues at the beginning, followed by most used shotguns summary with basic technical parameters. A new gun suitable for hunting and even sport shooting is designed by comparing of these parameters. Design contains of internal ballistic values calculation, barrels design, breech node design, firing mechanism preliminary design, design of stock and choke options analysis. The result of design is preliminary assembly drawing and drawing of barrels bundle, which are part of annex.
