Abstract

The main aims of the thesis are following: streamlining the process of supply chain management, selecting the most appropriate contractor for the project of complete equipment for new offices, the creation of proposals and recommendations that would help to improve the process of recruitment and selection in Freescale Semiconductor Ltd. CR. Ultimately, the aim of this thesis is increasing the efficiency and simplifying the selected internal operations.

The thesis is divided into four main chapters. First one is devoted to theoretical and methodological background. It focuses on three internal activities, which includes: supply chain management, recruitment and selection of suitable contractors and the last part covers employees, their source acquisition, the actual selection of quality candidates and ultimately evaluating the success of the choice.

The practical part is described in the third, fourth and fifth chapter. First chapter introduces Freescale Semiconductor Ltd. CR, which has built a relatively strong and stable position for the period of its existence, then there is described in more detail the current status of the three internal activities, on the basis of which they are built a practical analysis methods. Among these are included: supporting analysis and braking forces, special brainstorming, defining criteria for evaluating vendors, portfolio analysis, radar shape (glyph), Pareto diagram, the order method, interviews, employee selection methods, assess the degree of stability and fluctuation degree and last method is a questionnaire.
