Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with monitoring of electrical resistance of resistive layer VBD from ceramic cutting board. First part of this thesis contains theory from fields such as: ceramic cutting board, tool wear and electrical resistance. Second part contains experiment itself. Experiment confirmed that when we increase wear, electrical resistance also increases. If electrical resistance is increased by several tens of ohms or if connection of resistive layer VBD is interrupted, we can conclude that wear of resistive layer VBD reached highest possible point and needs to be replaced.
