Abstract

The thesis deals with the construction of a robotic arm using linear actuators. To begin, there is an analysis dealing with the types of linear actuators and the current state of robotic arms. Further the requirements for the construction were stipulated. Three design options were carried out according to the requirements. Value analysis was performed after designing the three variants and the optimal variant was selected. The chosen option was designed in detail. The arm has five degrees of freedom and movements are performed by five actuators. Construction is designed for the load up to 20 kg and will be attached to one of the mobile robots of The Department of Robotics. The chosen robotic arm was examined with a large number of calculations. It is also supported by the necessary drawings.
