Bachelor thesis deals with the design of the technological procedure of production of the towing arm technology drop forging, which is realized in the company UNEX, a. S.-Plant Olomouc, where they specialize in the production of technologies drop forging. The work is divided into two separate parts. The theoretical part is focused on the theoretical analysis of the problems of volume forming (forging) with a closer focus on the production of the component by die forging on the crank press and the current trends in first forging operations. Furthermore, unconventional forging of steel is dismantled in the theoretical part of the work. The practical part of the final work is focused on optimizing the shape and dimensions of the forged part of the towing arm. The main output is the design of the technological procedure of production of the specified component and its verification of simulations in the program Simufact. Forming and performing the forging test.
