Experimentální stanovení pevnosti aortální stěny

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the experimental estimation of the strength of the aortic walls, which was determined by means of burst pressure tests, which were performed on the upper descending aorta of pigs. The theory laid the biological and mechanical basis for the issue. The research discussed the issues of testing, methods of samples managing and the effects that may affect the sample at various times in the experiment. Finally, in the practical part, an experiment was performed, where the measuring equipment and the complete sample preparation procedure were described in detail. This is followed by the results of the experiment, which were processed in the Matlab program. At Matlab, we obtained most of the stress and strain data. All necessary data were subsequently processed and discussed.
