Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and optimization of the procurement process in the selected company. The introduction highlights the importance of procurement efficiency, supplier management, and inventory control in ensuring seamless operations. It also outlines the general objectives of this thesis. The theoretical part provides an overview of procurement strategies, supplier preferencing models, lead time management, and inventory optimization techniques. Based on the analysis of procurement data, a prediction model was developed to enhance procurement efficiency by integrating historical sales data, supplier performance metrics, and demand forecasting. This model will be utilized long-term to improve stock availability, reduce procurement costs, and optimize supplier selection.
