Abstract

HEJDOVÁ, Karolína. Soft Targets of Railway Infrastructure. [Diploma Thesis]. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2023. 71 pages. This thesis deals with soft targets in the field of railway infrastructure. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical definition of the issue, namely the basic concepts, key documents and describes in more detail the area of soft targets and railway infrastructure. The theoretical part results in the definition of what is a soft target in railway infrastructure. This section is followed by an analysis of methods that deal with or may be suitable for the identification of soft targets. The analysis of the methods was used as a basis for the design of the procedure for the identification of soft targets in railway infrastructure, which is the core part of this thesis. In the final part, this proposal was applied to the railway infrastructure in the Vysočina Region.
