Abstract
This Bachelor thesis focuses on a draft and process of a rear axle bracket renovation of a historical automobile Amilcar. The first part is concentrated on a division of particular types of axles and theirs features. The next part deals with the renovation including a description of particular steps leading to the construction of a new rear axle bracket. The subsequent part describes creating 3D model of a whole rear axle. The strength analysis of a rear axle bracket is performed at the basis of obtained and calculated values by a finite elements method and a simulation ride of the vehicle in several driving modes where we examine the risk of a skid or rollover when it is passing through a directional arc with a certain speed. The end of the thesis deals with a draft of a new rear bridge construction and its following check by means of a dynamic calculation and strength analysis. Eventual drawing documentation is used for new rear axle bracket production.
