Abstract

This thesis deals with the production of the pollutants during the burning process, concretely within the combustion of the nitrogen oxides. It describes particular formation methods and types of nitrogen oxides. Thesis represents the major pollution producers. It also records the solutions of possible devices used for the flue gas emission minimization and compares their feasibility, pros-and-cons. The concept of the flue gas denitrification device in the fluid boiler with the duty of 30,47 MW is processed in the practical part. It uses the SNCR method. It introduces the fluid boilers, including their positives, to the readers. The design involves the stoichiometric calculation of the flue gases for two power levels (40 t/h and 18 t/h). It is concerned with the selection of the reductant and it determines its amount. The valuation of the achieved results is given at the conclusion.
