Abstract

Aim of diploma thesis is a modification of a paper recycling machine. Principle of a recycling line, main parts of a machine and its operational cycle are described in the introduction. A modification needs a power increase. For this power a belt drive is calculated and parts which are related to that power are checked. The main modification is for a recycling sieve. The paper technologist has recommended to design a different shape of the sieve. Elements of this sieve are changed according to the new shape. Positive effects of changes are confirmed by simulation of the sieve load by finite element method.
