Abstract

The thesis is focused on the construction of horizontal steam generator for nuclear power plant VVER 640. The introductory part is aimed on the global energy consumption increase and the benefits of nuclear energy use. The diploma thesis also minutely describes the most advanced generation of nuclear power plants and a description of a steam generator. The result of the thesis is the thermal calculation of the steam generator in a four-loop layout calculated on the basis of provided energetic parameters, stress analysis of the basic parametres of the steam generator, hydraulic analysis of the steam generator’s first circle and a design of the louvre-type steam separator.
