Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the functioning of municipalities in the Czech Republic and their management. The main goal of this thesis is to clarify the functioning of the municipalities
in the Czech Republic and a suggestion suitable financing alternatives of investments municipality Mírov. The operational objective was to evaluate the management
of the municipality by the type budget classification, than find out the structure and amount
of funds that the municipality has available and eventually propose changes in management
of municipality. Theoretical part is focused on the management of municipalities in the Czech Republic, structure of local budgets and more detailed description of the municipal budget by type classification. In the practical part of the thesis is described the development
of the municipality for the period 2006 to 2012. The practical part contains proposals
for financing investment projects of the municipality. Using the listed options for financing investment projects managed to verify the hypothesis of this study. In this study were used methods of observation and description, method of concretization and method of comparison indicators in the reference period and financial analysis of all parts of the municipal budget.
In conclusion of the practical part of this thesis were also used methods of synthesis and deduction.
