Abstract
The diploma project is focused to achieve vibration control of the cantilever beam. The design and experimental setup for the laboratory model is described. The experimental identification of the voice coil actuator is completed and the mathematical model is created in MATLAB/Simulink corresponding to the actual laboratory model. The kinematic excitation is created on the cantilever beam using shaker. The classical feedback methods for active vibration control are prepared in a simulation environment for the model.
