This bachelor thesis deals with the use of wood waste in a sawmill to produce electricity and thermal energy and gas, which is generated by the gasification process. Represents the method gasification process, cleaning and cooling of the gas produced. In the practical part I focused on choosing the best equipment for the sawmill in Petrovice u Karviné, Lower Marklovice and developed a scheme of combined production of electricity and thermal energy. For equipment, I calculated the simple material and economic balance.
