Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to develop a conceptual design of a Stirling engine designed as a secondary source of heat and electric energy for a family house by using solar energy. The opening of the thesis speaks about combined energy production which is currently closely connected with the use of a Stirling engine. Another part of the thesis is devoted to the engine itself, its history and current applications, the individual types of design and the basic parts which are characteristic for the engine. The main part is focused on dimensional design of the engine according to which the efficiency and power of the device is calculated. At the end of the whole thesis the use of the solar energy in combination with Stirling engine is solved as well as its most effective use in a case of a household.
