Abstract
Bachelor thesis examines characteristics of two identically shaped tool electrodes used for electroerosion machining – excavation. The tool electrodes are made from graphite. Both electrodes under the comparison are made from graphite material differing by manufacturer. Used graphite materials have similar qualities. The tool electrode machining is being conducted on Agie Agietron Impact 3 machine. We are conducting machining through the use of both tool electrodes with appropriate settings of electroerosion machining machine´s technological parameters. The influence of excavation on the tool electrode and on the mechanided surface is evaluated after the machining. We are comparing both electrodes and qualities they gained after the machining. We evaluate their mutual exchangeability in the end of the thesis.
