Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on simulating the movement of a mobile robot in a maze. The goal is to create a simulation environment for testing and verifying various algorithms for mobile robot navigation. Within the scope of the thesis, a random maze generator is developed using a selected algorithm in the CoppeliaSim simulation environment. Subsequently, a simplified mobile robot is modeled in the simulation and the selected algorithm is tested in the simulation environment on different randomly generated mazes. The result of the work is a simulation environment for mobile robots in mazes, which can contribute to educational purposes as well as to the development of autonomous driving of vehicles and robots.
