Abstract
The thesis deals with the design of a flexible cover for a lower limb prosthesis. The output is a functional model made by 3D printing technology. In the introductory part, I examine the current state of knowledge in the form of a research. The main part of the research is lower limb amputations and related prosthetics issues. I also pay attention to 3D printing technology and look for inspiring sub-subjects within the shape research. In the following stages, the work focuses on the design itself. In the beginning I process the materials supplied by Invent Medical. I continue the design process with sketches and modelling in virtual space. The final part of the work is the processing of the structural design and the preparation of the model for the actual 3D printing. As part of the conclusion, I create the final visualizations, necessary calculations and RULA analysis.
